Tasca, chef José Avillez’ first international restaurant, has brought genuine Portuguese flavours to Dubai. Distinguished with one Michelin star and located on the 6th floor of the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira hotel, Tasca is inspired by a typical portuguese tasca, it offers traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist in a space that combines a luxurious design and an eclectic atmosphere.

The menu is based on a sharing concept, it promises a journey through Portugal and its rich and diverse gastronomy and includes dishes that are modern interpretations of Portuguese classics of the coastal and inland regions, such as Giant Red Shrimp, Codfish Gomes de Sá, Piri Piri Chicken, and a Surf & Turf with Portuguese blue lobster.

Complementing the menu is a wine list with the largest selection of Portuguese wines in Dubai, as well as a tempting array of craft cocktails.

With spectacular views over Dubai’s urban skyline on one side and the Arabian Gulf beaches on the other, the restaurant offers a terrace with an infinity pool. Indoors, guests can observe the chefs’ careful and meticulous work in the open kitchen.
