Terms and Conditions for the Online Purchase of Vouchers
1. Object
The online sale of vouchers is carried out by Grupo José Avillez, S.A., with NIPC and VAT number 509 311 865 and registered office at Rua Nova da Trindade, no. 18, 1st floor, Lisbon, Portugal (hereinafter “José Avillez Restaurants”).
These Terms and Conditions govern the online purchase of gift vouchers (“Vouchers”) from José Avillez Restaurants, as well as the rules applicable to their use.
2. Online Purchase Process
2.1. The Customer must select the desired Voucher on the official website and fill in the requested details, including name, email, and phone number.
2.2. Payment is made through the methods made available by Ifthenpay: Multibanco Reference, MB WAY, Payshop, Credit/Debit Cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay.
2.3. After payment confirmation, the Customer will receive, at the email indicated: a) payment confirmation; b) invoice/receipt; c) the voucher in digital format (PDF), containing the unique code to be presented at the restaurant.
2.4. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is correct and accessible.
2.5. The Customer may choose to send the voucher as a gift, providing the recipient’s name and email address.
2.6. If the Voucher is sent as a gift, the recipient will receive an email with the Voucher and these Terms and Conditions attached.
3. Voucher Delivery
3.1. Vouchers are delivered exclusively in digital format, to the email provided at the time of purchase, either to the purchaser or, when applicable, to the gift recipient.
3.2. If the Customer does not receive the voucher within 24 hours after payment, they must contact vouchers@joseavillez.pt .
4. Terms of Use of Vouchers
The following rules apply to all purchased Vouchers:
To benefit from this offer, a reservation must be made at the restaurant.
4.1. The booking is subject to the availability of the restaurant specified on the voucher.
4.2. The voucher is not valid on February 14 and December 31.
4.3. Reservations must be made online through the restaurant’s website, indicating the voucher code in the notes field at the time of booking.
4.4. On the day of the reservation, the voucher must be presented either printed or in digital format (on a mobile device).
4.5. The reservation may be changed or canceled via the confirmation email received at the time of booking or by contacting the restaurant.
4.6. In the event of no-show or cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, the voucher will be considered redeemed.
4.7. In the event of non-use or loss, the Customer cannot claim any compensation or entitlement to use.
4.8. Gift vouchers cannot be converted into cash.
4.9. Vouchers are non-refundable, except in cases provided by law.
4.10. Vouchers are valid until the date indicated on the voucher.
4.11. After the expiry date, the voucher will no longer be valid.
5. Price and Payment
5.1. The price of each voucher is the one indicated on the sales page.
5.2. Payment is processed by Ifthenpay and is only considered complete after confirmation of the transaction.
5.3. The voucher will only be issued and sent after effective payment confirmation.
6. Invoicing
6.1. The invoice/receipt is issued after payment is received and will be sent to the Customer by email.
6.2. The Customer is responsible for entering accurate billing information.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
7.1. After payment and voucher issuance, no refunds will be granted, except in cases provided by law.
7.2. Failure to use the Voucher within the stated validity period results in total loss of right to its use.
8. Liability
8.1. José Avillez Restaurants shall not be liable for errors in the email address or other data provided by the Customer that prevent delivery of the voucher.
8.2. They shall not be liable for unavailability or technical failures of third-party systems involved in payment processing.
9. Personal Data
The personal data provided is used exclusively for:
- Purchase processing,
- Invoice issuance,
- Voucher delivery,
- Communications related to the order.

10. Acceptance of Terms
Completion of the purchase means that the Customer has read, understood, and fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For dispute resolution, the court of the District of Lisbon shall have jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by law.
